The Exhibition Hall of the History of China’s Democratic Parties is located in Shangqing Temple, Yuzhong District, Chongqing, and is built upon Teyuan, a nationally protected cultural heritage site. The facility covers 10,000 square meters, with a total floor area of 20,000 square meters.
The exhibition features over 1,300 historical photographs and more than 2,200 artifacts, using a combination of visual storytelling, physical exhibits, and multimedia technologies—including light, sound, and projection—to vividly present the united efforts of the Chinese Communist Party, democratic parties, non-affiliated individuals, and members of the united front in their shared journey toward national rejuvenation.
Serving as a key platform for telling the story of the CPC and its collaboration with other political parties, the museum highlights the historical significance and enduring spirit of China’s multi-party cooperation system.
