The Pingliang Museum houses an extensive and diverse collection of over 10,000 artifact, notable for its rich variety and historically continuous sequence. These artifacts bear witness to the deep historical roots of this fertile region. The new facility comprises eight exhibition zones: four permanent galleries, three temporary halls, and a youth education center.
With a curatorial approach that combines a “grand historical narrative” with focused thematic sections, the museum presents immersive exhibitions that vividly highlight Pingliang’s unique regional culture—particularly its Silk Road heritage, Buddhist art, and Daoist traditions.
